About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (#42530). I have been working with couples and individuals in therapy since 1998, when I began my practicum training at the Contra Costa Crisis Center (where I continue to volunteer as a grief counselor and mental health screener). Since then, I have also worked for Touchstone Counseling Services in Pleasant Hill and North County Mental Health Clinic (County of Santa Clara) in Palo Alto. I became fully licensed in early 2005, and am now in private practice in San Ramon, California.
I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. I have lived in Roswell, NM, Anchorage, AK, St. Louis, MO and Seattle, WA. I worked over 20 years in corporate, nonprofit and government settings. I received my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at City University of Seattle.
